Influencing other in the arts, media, marketplace or government, with a Kingdom call?

ELEMENTAL2017 in Toronto, ELEMENTALWEST2018 in Calgary, ELEMENTALEAST2019 in Moncton and ELEMENTALCENTRAL2023 in Winnipeg explored how the gospel can further move across Canada and to the nations. We explore 'elemental' themes of Kingdom, organic church and making disciples. Come join the conversation!

In an era where ‘church as organization’ is in serious decline, we must find pathways to embrace the Kingdom and ‘church as family’ if we are to extend our collective reach and fulfill our individual assignments under God.
A ‘new work’ of God’s Spirit is afoot. And, you have clues that others need! Consider what you can bring to the table as we wrestle with what are the things which are elemental to the Kingdom … sometimes leadership books, fundraising culture and Roberts Rules of Order have more influence in local ministry than Ephesians 4:11-12, the ‘one anothers’ and daily trust in the dynamic headship of Jesus … what are the rhythms of doing church which are more relational, more profoundly scriptural as well as culturally contextual? Old paths must be recovered and new paths found! Come connect with other path-finders!
This huddle of practitioners from across Canada and the US will update, inspire and equip Kingdom-minded folk to continue to advance the gospel to all nations, at home and abroad. Within and between sessions there will be opportunities for conversations, reflection and networking. The sharing of resources in this environment will be a highlight of the time.

Our goal is a highly interactive time. This 'unconference' is your chance to share and exchange your story in a learning community setting.
We want you to connect, deeply listen to one another and learn together.

The primacy of plants, baked goods and road trips
who is this for?
congregational leaders
migrators

strugglers
church planters and pastors
dones* and house churchers
young adults burned out on religion
Many today are seeking to re-imagine the life of their congregation but find themselves stuck in the very traditions they are trying to energize/transform.
Many feel disconnected from congregational life and isolated but have a deep heart for God and finding new paths for Christ-centered community and mission.
There is a hunger for new rhythms of grace. Less information and more inspiration and relational connection. GenZ have clues for us.

* Nones and Dones are not only sociological terms but represent the lives and faith stories of real people. Nones are those who are religiously unaffiliated with any particular faith tradition, though many are interested in spirituality. Dones are those who have maintained their religious identity (many of them are Christian), but have left established, institutional religious settings such as church .
